I've had a creeping feeling that one of my S. elegant was on the run (or dead), and as I lurked around in the animal room now I saw it hiding behind the rack (including its home)... I've caught a lot of Lygos, but they are stupid, so I wonder f there is any good tricks to get this runaway trapped and back where it belongs...?

BTW, I'm not too worried about its well being, as the room itself is both hot and humid, and there is plenty of drosophila around (and thus also small spiders...), but it wold be nice to get it back in the terrarium ;)

Cheers,
Martin

Hi!!

I had a few escaping...managed to catch some mostly by luck while they were in the middle of the room

I even had one female to lay an egg in the room

The only thing I would see is eventually put some bark near where he is and hope he will hide in it...

Cheers
Yann

Good thinking indeed! He/she might prefer a nice cork-branch to the back of the rack, and from there it would be smooth sailing :)

I'll give it a go!

Cheers, and thanks!
